As a photographer, I must never blink, for fear of missing the perfect moment...

Most importantly, I must see the beauty, feel the compassion and have a connection, before instantaneously capturing it in time forever.

Who Is
Cheryl Lyn Photography?

Hi! My name is Cheryl Lyn and I'm a country gal, who grew up getting dirt and grease on my hands.

I snapped photos with my 35mm camera, took art classes, and even raced cars growing up.

I wear my cowgirl boots 24/7, and yes, I even wear them with dresses.

I love a good chick flick and Disney movies, especially my favorite, "Beauty and the Beast".

I've always been drawn to the romance and beauty of weddings...

and when I was hired as an Assistant by Janos Wilder for his two restaurants in Tucson, AZ my love for weddings was confirmed. During my first week, I had booked my first wedding. I loved meeting with the brides and planning their ceremonies, dinner menus and every detail that I could to make sure their day was perfect. After three years, I had gained a tremendous amount of experience, knowledge and  skills that I am so grateful to have and I apply them every aspect of my photography business.

It wasn't until a family member's wedding photographer cancelled two days before her wedding...

that I would find my true passion, Wedding Photography! I'd never used a professional digital camera before and after a 15 minute lesson from my sister on how to use her Canon 60D, I was on my way to photographing my first wedding. Several fast hours later, I couldn't believe the feeling I got from taking the photos. It was exhilarating knowing that I had just captured their memories through my camera lens, and guess what? The story of their wedding day, was beautiful and full of love.

Why do I love wedding photography?

It's those perfect moments instantaneously captured in time forever, magically being brought back to life time and time again, every time someone looks at the photographs. It's feeling the compassion, emotional connection and seeing the beauty in every detail.

I love being a storyteller through my creativity and camera.

It's about telling YOUR story...

STORYTELLING STYLE

Images of a Love Story

I love trying different angles to tell a story, layering colors and natural framing... I'm not afraid to climb up on a chair or lay down in the dirt to get the perfect picture.

As your photographer, I make sure your  wedding has all the depth, emotion, spontaneity, and beauty that this kind of occasion deserves.

How do you want your story told?
